The work Aguedoptero en la red XXV by Omar Rayo was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,702.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Omar Rayo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ola-Zen I, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).

Die Arbeit Aguedoptero en la red XXV von Omar Rayo wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.702,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Omar Rayo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ola-Zen I beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67) versteigert wurde.
