A top price for Olympe Aguado - as previously expected
The work La Partie De Cartes', Vers 1860 by Olympe Aguado was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Partie De Cartes', Vers 1860 is the most expensive artwork by Olympe Aguado that we have observed at auctions so far.
