Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Plates, from from The Angles of Baertling - Open Form, Infinite Space (2 works) by Olle Bærtling was sold in the Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions auction at Bonhams in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 962.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olle Bærtling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Mithra" in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 2,750,000.00 (€ 308,904.68).

Die Arbeit Two Plates, from from The Angles of Baertling - Open Form, Infinite Space (2 works) von Olle Bærtling wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 962,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olle Bærtling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Mithra" im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.750.000,00 (€ 308.904,68).
