Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Oliver Osborne was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in March 2016. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,156.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Osborne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work g........., which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,906.38).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oliver Osborne wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.156,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Osborne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit g......... beobachtet, die im April 2017 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.906,38) versteigert wurde.
