Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Oliver Osborne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2019. In the The Hoarder Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,954.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Osborne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work g........., which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,906.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oliver Osborne erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hoarder Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.954,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Osborne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit g......... beobachtet, die im April 2017 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.906,38) versteigert wurde.
