Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dove Over The Face of The Water by Oliver Gollancz was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 300.00 (€ 437.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Gollancz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 660.00 (€ 969.62).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 300,00 (€ 437,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Gollancz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 660,00 (€ 969,62) versteigert wurde.
