Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nile Sailing by Olga Davenport was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2012. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,194.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Olga Davenport have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange Flower in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,470.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nile Sailing von Olga Davenport wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.194,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Davenport auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange Flower im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.470,10).
