Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Mediterranean Landscape by Olga Davenport for GBP 375.00 (€ 447.76). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olga Davenport achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orange Flower in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,470.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mediterranean Landscape von Olga Davenport für GBP 375,00 (€ 447,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olga Davenport erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orange Flower im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.470,10).
