This artwork by Olga Davenport achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2009. In the 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection auction, the work Green Still Life sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,235.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Olga Davenport; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Orange Flower sold at auction in March 2009 with the realized price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,470.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olga Davenport erzielte im März 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection wurde die Arbeit Green Still Life für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.235,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Olga Davenport; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Orange Flower im März 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.470,10).
