Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers with Black Jug by Olga Davenport was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,585.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Olga Davenport have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange Flower in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,470.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers with Black Jug von Olga Davenport kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.585,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Davenport auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange Flower im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.470,10).
