Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included this untitled work by Olga Albizu. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,568.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olga Albizu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.568,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olga Albizu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82).
