Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Olga Albizu. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36). Admittedly, works by Olga Albizu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Albizu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82).
