Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Olga Albizu was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,078.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olga Albizu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu kam im November 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.078,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Albizu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82).
