Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Olga Albizu was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. It achieved a price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,876.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Albizu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.876,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Albizu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82) versteigert wurde.
