This work without title by Olga Albizu was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in September this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,238.10), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Olga Albizu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 95.238,10) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Olga Albizu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82).
