Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Study For Autumn Portrait, 1981 by Oleg Vassiliev. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,465.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oleg Vassiliev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before The Sunset in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 468,500.00 (€ 588,552.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For Autumn Portrait, 1981 von Oleg Vassiliev zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.465,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oleg Vassiliev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Before The Sunset im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 468.500,00 (€ 588.552,20).
