Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Moscow Suburb by Oleg Vassiliev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,555.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oleg Vassiliev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before The Sunset in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 468,500.00 (€ 588,552.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Moscow Suburb von Oleg Vassiliev kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.555,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oleg Vassiliev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Before The Sunset im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 468.500,00 (€ 588.552,20).
