Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 55 Km From Moscow by Oleg Vassiliev was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 67,157.88). Admittedly, works by Oleg Vassiliev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Sunset in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 468,500.00 (€ 588,552.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 55 Km From Moscow von Oleg Vassiliev wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 67.157,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Vassiliev auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Sunset im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 468.500,00 (€ 588.552,20).
