Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: (I) The Renification; (II) Roxelana from Ukrainian Money project by Oleg Tistol was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,044.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Oleg Tistol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colouring in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,125.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two works: (I) The Renification; (II) Roxelana from Ukrainian Money project von Oleg Tistol kam im Oktober 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.044,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Tistol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colouring im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.125,01).
