Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ukrainian southern Coast Of Crimea by Oleg Tistol was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,253.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oleg Tistol - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colouring, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,125.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.253,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
