Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Livadia by Oleg Tistol was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 18,671.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oleg Tistol - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colouring, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,125.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Livadia von Oleg Tistol kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 18.671,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oleg Tistol mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colouring beobachtet, die im April 2013 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.125,01) versteigert wurde.
