Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Ukrainian spring Is Coming. Chieftain by Oleg Tistol. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,253.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oleg Tistol - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colouring, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,125.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ukrainian spring Is Coming. Chieftain von Oleg Tistol zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.253,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oleg Tistol mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colouring beobachtet, die im April 2013 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.125,01) versteigert wurde.
