A top price for Olaf Otto Becker
In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples, which included the work Greenland, Ilulissat Icefjord, 07/2003, 69°11’50’’N, 51°12’54’’, 2003 by Olaf Otto Becker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 700.76). With this result, Greenland, Ilulissat Icefjord, 07/2003, 69°11’50’’N, 51°12’54’’, 2003 is even the most expensive work of art by Olaf Otto Becker that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greenland, Ilulissat Icefjord, 07/2003, 69°11’50’’N, 51°12’54’’, 2003 von Olaf Otto Becker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 700,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Greenland, Ilulissat Icefjord, 07/2003, 69°11’50’’N, 51°12’54’’, 2003 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Olaf Otto Becker, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
