Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Indien À Cheval by Olaf Wieghorst was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,099.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olaf Wieghorst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opening of the Cherokee Strip in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 193,182.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Indien À Cheval von Olaf Wieghorst kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.099,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olaf Wieghorst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opening of the Cherokee Strip im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 193.182,79).
