Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Olaf Breuning could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Princess changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 737.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olaf Breuning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Only One, 2001 in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 12,227.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olaf Breuning konnte im April 2013 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Princess für GBP 625,00 (€ 737,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olaf Breuning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Only One, 2001 im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.227,00.
