Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Sitting... Target by Öyvind Fahlström was worth EUR 13,860.00 to a buyer in May 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Daniel Cordier, Collection privée at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Öyvind Fahlström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 4,300,000.00 (€ 385,464.57).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sitting... Target von Öyvind Fahlström war einem Käufer im Mai 2021 EUR 13.860,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Daniel Cordier, Collection privée bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Öyvind Fahlström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.300.000,00 (€ 385.464,57).
