Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Öyvind Fahlström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Column no 2 (Picasso 90) sold for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,436.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 550.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Öyvind Fahlström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 4,300,000.00 (€ 385,464.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Öyvind Fahlström erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wurde die Arbeit Column no 2 (Picasso 90) für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.436,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 550,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Öyvind Fahlström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.300.000,00 (€ 385.464,57).
