Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Eddie (Sylvie's Brother) in the Desert by Öyvind Fahlström. The price achieved of USD 408.00 (€ 382.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 350.00 – 550.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Öyvind Fahlström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 4,300,000.00 (€ 385,464.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eddie (Sylvie's Brother) in the Desert von Öyvind Fahlström zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 408,00 (€ 382,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 350,00 – 550,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Öyvind Fahlström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.300.000,00 (€ 385.464,57).
