Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Bauerninselstoff" by Öyvind Fahlström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,171.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Öyvind Fahlström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 4,300,000.00 (€ 385,464.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Bauerninselstoff" von Öyvind Fahlström im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.171,43) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Öyvind Fahlström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "ADE-LEDIC-NANDER I" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.300.000,00 (€ 385.464,57).
