The work Lush by Odinakachi Okoroafor was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,697.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Odinakachi Okoroafor; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Spinster sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of GBP 15,750.00 (€ 18,781.32).

Die Arbeit Lush von Odinakachi Okoroafor kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.710,00 (€ 12.697,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Odinakachi Okoroafor; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Spinster im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.750,00 (€ 18.781,32).
