Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 45,717.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Odd Nerdrum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dawn in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 402,346.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Nude) von Odd Nerdrum wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 39.650,00 (€ 45.717,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Odd Nerdrum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dawn im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 402.346,47).
