In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Norwegian twins by Odd Nerdrum. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,054.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Odd Nerdrum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dawn in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 402,346.47).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Norwegian twins von Odd Nerdrum zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.054,46) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Odd Nerdrum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dawn im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 402.346,47).
