Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Political Meat Grinder by Nyein Chan Su for HKD 2,520.00 (€ 273.16). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nyein Chan Su achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape 7 in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Political Meat Grinder von Nyein Chan Su für HKD 2.520,00 (€ 273,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nyein Chan Su erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape 7 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.956,85).
