A top price for Nyein Chan Su
The work Landscape 7 by Nyein Chan Su was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Landscape 7 is even the most expensive work of art by Nyein Chan Su that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape 7 von Nyein Chan Su wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.956,85) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Landscape 7 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nyein Chan Su, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
