Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Nyein Chan Su was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,418.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nyein Chan Su have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work Landscape 7 was auctioned for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Nyein Chan Su kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.418,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nyein Chan Su konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2018 die Arbeit Landscape 7 für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.956,85) versteigert.
