Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape 11 by Nyein Chan Su was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,548.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nyein Chan Su - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape 7, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape 11 von Nyein Chan Su wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.548,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nyein Chan Su mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape 7 beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.956,85) versteigert wurde.
