Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape 8 by Nyein Chan Su was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,063.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Nyein Chan Su have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work Landscape 7 was auctioned for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85).
