Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nona Garcia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. In the Asia+ / First Open auction, the work Hallow IV sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,758.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nona Garcia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Garden in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nona Garcia erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asia+ / First Open wurde die Arbeit Hallow IV für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.758,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nona Garcia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Garden im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 967.500,00 (€ 79.734,23).
