It achieved a price of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 53,378.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nona Garcia; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot In The Garden sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).
