A top price for Nja Mahdaoui - as previously expected
In October 2014 Sothebys in Doha held the auction Contemporary Art / Doha, which included the work Ikhtilej by Nja Mahdaoui. The price achieved of USD 341,000.00 (€ 272,146.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ikhtilej is the most expensive artwork by Nja Mahdaoui that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Doha die Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ikhtilej von Nja Mahdaoui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 272.146,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ikhtilej das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nja Mahdaoui, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
