Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Triptych 3 by Nja Mahdaoui was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 73,299.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nja Mahdaoui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ikhtilej, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 341,000.00 (€ 272,146.85).
