Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eshq 1 by Nja Mahdaoui was sold in the Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2017. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,422.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nja Mahdaoui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ikhtilej in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 272,146.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eshq 1 von Nja Mahdaoui wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.422,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nja Mahdaoui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ikhtilej im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 272.146,85).
