Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Il Tuffatore by Nino Migliori was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2001, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,175.00 (€ 1,324.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nino Migliori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Il Tuffatore', 1951 in May 2021 with an auction result of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,660.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Il Tuffatore von Nino Migliori im April 2001 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.175,00 (€ 1.324,09) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nino Migliori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Il Tuffatore', 1951 im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.660,39).
