This artwork by Nino Migliori achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in October 2019. In the Photographs auction, the work Il Tuffatore sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nino Migliori; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Il Tuffatore', 1951 sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,660.39).
