Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Un prete povero by Nino Caffè. The price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,391.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nino Caffè have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Break From Prayers in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,596.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Un prete povero von Nino Caffè zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.391,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nino Caffè auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Break From Prayers im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.596,92).
