Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nino Caffè achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2014. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Donna sul mare sold for EUR 3,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nino Caffè - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Break From Prayers, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,596.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nino Caffè erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Donna sul mare für EUR 3.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nino Caffè mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Break From Prayers beobachtet, die im März 2006 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.596,92) versteigert wurde.
