Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Incendio nel Convento by Nino Caffè for USD 765.00 (€ 741.06). This price was achieved in the auction European Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nino Caffè achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Break From Prayers in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,596.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Incendio nel Convento von Nino Caffè für USD 765,00 (€ 741,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nino Caffè erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Break From Prayers im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.596,92).
