Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady by Nikolai Kharitonov. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,392.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Kharitonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women From Yaroslavl in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 187,200.00 (€ 277,997.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Nikolai Kharitonov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.392,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Kharitonov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women From Yaroslavl im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.200,00 (€ 277.997,86).
