A top price for Nikolai Kharitonov
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Pictures, which included the work Women From Yaroslavl by Nikolai Kharitonov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 187,200.00 (€ 277,997.86), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Women From Yaroslavl the most expensive artwork by Nikolai Kharitonov that we have observed at auctions so far.
