Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Kharitonov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Women From Yaroslavl, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 187,200.00 (€ 277,997.86).
